Teachers’ Workshop

The Smart Classroom Teachers’ Workshop, held on September 26-27 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, brought together 80 primary and secondary school teachers from 40 schools across Perlis, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka Johor and Kelantan.
The workshop aimed to equip the educators with the necessary tools and strategies for effective integration of technology in the classroom, fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment for both teachers and students. By creating a network of professionals, we seek to drive the digitalization of education and contribute to the advancement of teaching practice in Malaysian school.
OBJECTIVE
Educator support : Assisting teachers in Smart Classroom school to implement diverse strategies for an innovative learning experience.
Professional Network : Establishing a professional learning community to promote the digitalization of education in Malaysian school.
Survey result from the workshop indicated significant benefits derived from the programme. With a total of 8o participants, including those attending physical and online, it is estimated that approximately 2000 teachers benefitted from shared experiences and knowledge gained during the workshop. Additionally, there was a notable increase and improvement in the utilization of smart classroom technology, with 20% – 30% of respondent reporting positive changes in creating new learning experiences within their classroom.
