Change Starts From The Heart.

In 2004, the Malaysian AEON Foundation came to life and the AEON Group became the first retailer in Malaysia to start off its own charitable foundation. 

It started with a one-off charity event, coined With All Our Hearts, that was organised to celebrate the turn of the century in 2000. The following year, the With All Our Hearts Charity Fund was launched and a countdown celebration was thrown with a 36-hour event that drew in crowds and excitement. AEON pledged to donate 21% of the sales at the event to selected charitable bodies.

This then turned into a yearly occurrence, with well-known faces like Datuk Siti Nurhaliza being part of our activities. Having seen the joy created from making a difference in the community, this inspired the company to form the Malaysian JUSCO Foundation. 

With full hearts, our foundation has steadily grown, building a legacy of helping those in need. Since our inception, the foundation has contributed more than RM17.8 million with our outreach programmes. Our efforts and heart continue – as we work towards fulfilling our mission of spreading even more joy and changing even more lives, together.

Our Milestones.

2010

MALAYSIAN AEON FOUNDATION

Malaysian Jusco Foundation was renamed to Malaysian AEON Foundation as reflect of its Greater commitment and gain more support and recognition from AEON Group Companies of Malaysia.

2006

RUMAH TUNAS HARAPAN 1

The first Rumah Tunas Harapan Sepenuh Hati was launched with Rumah Tunas Harapan Bukit Beruntung, Rawang. The concept was based on a family home where care would be provided full time by the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia (JKM).

2004

ESTABLISHMENT OF MALAYSIAN JUSCO FOUNDATION

From a humble charity event, the charity fund grew to become a well-respected entity benefiting many unfortunate, ill and deserving individuals, especially children. The charity fund drive was then established as the “With All Our Hearts’ Malaysian JUSCO Foundation, in line with its mission.

2002

DATO’ SITI NURHALIZA BECAME MJF AMBASSADOR

Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza was appointed the ambassador of the With All Our Hearts Charity Fund.

2001

LAUNCHING OF WITH ALL OUR HEARTS (WAOH) CHARITY FUND

Following the success of the 21st Century Charity Countdown, the With All Our Hearts (WAOH) Charity Fund was launched to mark Jusco’s 17th anniversary.

2000

LAUNCHING OF WITH ALL OUR HEARTS 21ST CENTURY CHARITY COUNTDOWN

The With All Our Hearts 21st Century Charity Countdown at Jusco Bandar Utama delivered 36 hours of non-stop excitement from 10am, 31 December – 10pm, 1 January 2001. RM500,000 worth of proceeds from sales was raised, and combined with public donations and J Card member contributions to achieve RM700,000 in donations.
