16 January 2017 :- Celebrating Chinese New Year is more meaningful when it is celebrated together and with that intention, Malaysian AEON Foundation(MAF) organised the festive celebration at Perak region involving all AEON outlets and also one AEON outlet in Johor Bahru.

Children from several homes such as Pertubuhan Pengurusan Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Anning, The Salvation Army, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Harapan Baru, Persatuan Kebajikan Mesra Megah Ria, Pusat Kebajikan Care Haven, SMK Dindings and SMK Methodist Ipoh were brought together to participate in the MAF annual festive event at the selected AEON outlets.

They went for a shopping session to buy new clothes for Chinese New Year before being brought to AEON Hall, AEON Klebang, Ipoh for a scrumptious lunch. The children were also entertained by lion dance performance and candy walkabout by God of Prosperity and later they received ‘ang pow’ from the MAF committee members ending the event.
