Flood Operations Relief 2017 – Penang

5 November 2017 – Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) collaborated with Media Prima to deploy relief effort to PENANG. We went to four relief centres at Kampung Dodol, Georgetown; Dewan Serbaguna Pejabat Daerah & Tanah Seberang Perai Tengah (SPT); Dewan Banjir Guar Jering and Dewan Muhibah Merbau Kudong, to hand over our daily essential needs value RM200. At least 500 families have received help.

  1. Masjid Wan Chik Arifin, Georgetown (250 families)
  2. Dewan Muhibbah Merbau Kudong, S.P.U. (59 families)
  3. Dewan Banjir Merbau Kudong, S.P.U. (22 families)
  4. Dewan Banjir Guar Jering Penanti, S.P.T. (77 families)
  5. Dewan Serbaguna, Seberang Perai (60 families)
    Total Family Assisted = 468 families
Total Volunteers 37 pax (AEON CO. & Media Prima Berhad)
Donated Items
  1. Instant food & beverages (Mineral water, cup noodle, can food, cracker, chocolate & coffee)
  2. Hygienic items (Wet tissue, body wash & diaper)
  3. Storage box & pail
