Tebrau, 9 December 2016 – ‘Tis the season to be jolly as the Malaysian AEON Foundation ‘gives back’ to the community with its annual Joy of Christmas celebration.

Held at AEON Tebrau City in Johor, the merry affair played host to 80 children, and four single mothers and their families from the Pusat Kebajikan Kalvari Johor (PKK). They were joined by a total of 50 AEON Group employees—across AEON Co, AEON BIG and AEON Credit Service—who volunteered their time to help put a smile on the children and single mothers’ face.

In line with the season of giving, every child in attendance received RM200 worth of AEON vouchers and was treated to an AEON shopping spree. As an added bonus, they were also given an RM50 angpau each. Similarly, the single mothers each received aid in the form of an RM200 angpau plus essential supplies valued at RM80.

The second highlight of the occasion came in the form of play time for the kids. Those below the age of 12 were whisked away to the exciting world of Fanpekka, a Finnish conceptual theme park that emphasises learning through playing. Meanwhile, the older children immersed themselves in fun and games at Molly Fantasy, AEON’s indoor amusement centre.
