Kluang, 19 October 2019 – The festive spirit kicked into full swing as the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF) partnered with AEON BiG Kluang, Johor for the 10th instalment of its AEON Mesra Deepavali programme. The children were given an allocation of RM200 and treated to a two-hour shopping excursion at AEON BiG Kluang. A good time picking out clothes for Deepavali, stationeries and toys too. Then, the children and volunteers at the Four Seasons Ruili Hotel, where they enjoyed a scrumptious lunch, and were engaged in fun group activities. The donation handover ceremony held at the hotel saw every child receiving an angpow worth RM50. This were then followed by shopping session at other 5 AEON Malls and 4 AEON BiG branches happening simultaneously across the country on the same day. Stores involved are AEON BiG Kepong, AEON BiG Bukit Rimau, AEON BiG Bukit Minyak, AEON BiG Klang, AEON Mall Metro Prima, AEON Mall Rawang, AEON Mall Kulai, AEON Mall Nilai and AEON Mall  Klebang. In lieu of the upcoming religious celebration, AEON Mesra Deepavali this year have invited 431 children from the neighborhood to shop for their festive outfit with the help by employees from the AEON Group. Each child was given an allocation of RM200 from AEON CO. & RM150 from AEON BiG to shop.  A total of RM68,294.90 were donated.
