Kuala Lumpur, 5 December 2019 – As part of an ongoing community activity which started more than 15 years ago, the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF), through its AEON Mesra programmes, were organising a nationwide Christmas shopping event at its Taman Maluri Shopping Centre, and at nine other AEON and AEON BiG outlets across the country. AEON Mesra Christmas this year has invited 406 children to shop for presents and clothes this Christmas. On the invitation by AEON Taman Maluri, children were not only be given the opportunity to shop, but they will also were entertained by games at AEON’s indoor entertainment centre Molly Fantasy. After the shopping , the children were joined foundation members for lunch where they received an additional RM50 cash gift or duit raya. Each child was given RM200 for 5 AEON outlets; AEON Taman Maluri, AEON Tebrau City, AEON Ipoh, AEON Bukit Mertajam and AEON Kuching & RM150 for AEON BiG outlets; AEON BiG Midvalley, AEON BiG Ampang, AEON BiG Subang Jaya, AEON BiG Penang Prai and AEON BiG Sutera Utama to shop. The amount of RM78,213.33 was donated through the event.
