Nilai, June 16, 2019 – In conjunction with its 15th anniversary, the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF)  kicked-off its first Charity Run & Ride last Sunday, 16th June at the AEON Mall Nilai which saw the participation of over 800 individuals with the support of friends and families. The AEON Charity Run & Ride 2019 is divided into two categories, the 6KM Run and the 18KM Bike Ride. Participants have the opportunity to either run or ride while contributing towards a specific cause to support the educational, medical and/or the communal needs of the underprivileged.  RM 100,000 were donated to 10 selected charity homes on that day. A total of eight valuable sponsors contributed towards the success of the charity event. This community event was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Aminuddin bin Harun, Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan accompanied by YB Dato’ Dr. Razali Bin Ab Malik, Negeri Sembilan State Secretary, YB Tuan Arul Kumar A/L Jambunathan Committee Chairman Exco & Nilai ADUN, YBhg Datin Yasmin Ahmad Merican, MAF President, Mr. Shinobu Washizawa and Mr. Kenji Fujita, MAF Vice Presidents. Besides the run & ride, the participants and families were treated to a special performance by an all-girl band, De Fam. Interactive games, face painting booths and lucky draws were also held.
