AEON is bringing Christmas cheer to 530 children in responding to their personal wish lists for gifts. Throughout the past week, AEON employees and volunteers had shopped for gifts which will be shared with the children from underprivileged homes around the country.

As part of an ongoing community activity which started more than 15 years ago, the Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF), through its AEON Mesra programmes, were organising a nationwide Christmas shopping event at its Taman Maluri Shopping Centre, and at nine other AEON and AEON BiG outlets across the country.

In an effort to bring cheer and the joy of Christmas to underprivileged families, 50 families and 100 children from Kampung Annah Rais, Kuching were given monetary assistance and everyday life necessities that totalled RM40,000 as Christmas treat.

Malaysian AEON Foundation (MAF), through its recent Joy of Christmas 2017 community outreach initiative, spread good cheer to 135 children and 5 single-parent families from local underprivileged groups.
